The objectives of the Partnership Shall be:
To provide an umbrella body to promote and support collaboration between all organisations, institutions, societies, and clubs interested in bringing about improvements to the town of Deal.
To engage with all sectors of the community, including hard-to-reach and disadvantaged groups, on issues affecting the lives of those who live, work, and visit the town.
To monitor and keep under review the interaction of environmental, social, economic, and cultural factors impacting on the town, and how they can be addressed to improve the quality of the public realm.
To produce a vision for the town of Deal to promote its vitality, viability, and attractiveness as a place to live, work, and visit.
To work with the local planning authorities to ensure that this vision is reflected in Local Plan Policies and in the control and management of development.
To bid for funds, nationally and locally, to support social, cultural, sporting, and other programmes to enhance the lives of the people of Deal.
In furtherance of its objectives, the Partnership may:
Raise and receive funds by any lawful means.
Apply for and manage grants, donations, and sponsorships.
Employ staff, contractors, or consultants as necessary.
Establish or support sub-groups or project groups for specific purposes.
Cooperate with local authorities, statutory bodies, voluntary and community groups, and businesses.
Acquire or lease property and equipment required for its purposes.
Do all lawful things necessary to achieve its objectives.
